Today I woke up in Sea Point. The quiet, the whites, the wooden floors and the minimalist style of the house has an extremely calming effect on my psyche. It’s as if someone has taken a whole heap of garbage from my shoulders. As I wandered through my new abode last night, I actually had this “now what?” feeling. But in a good way. I guess that’s what the start of a new season feels like.
As I stretched with my feet hanging mid-air from my bed, a couple of joint pains shot through my body. Yup, moving is no joke.
This weekend I’m going to organise and make pretty. Hopefully my cat calms down soon. He went a bit crazy last night. Poor Josef.
I’ll post more about my (other) housemates soon.
I love whites. So soothing, calming, and open.
